The OS 4 charge controller is the first to provide simultaneous separate charging of 2 onboard systems, each with a 13.8 Volt end-of charge voltage.

This charging characteristic is enabled by controlling the +pole. There is no effect as a result of the common connection of the –pole.

Function displays:

LED illuminates yellow: charging is active, charging current is present

LED illuminates red: polarity of the specific battery is reversed

Connection and initial operation:

* Always make sure the polarity is correct when connecting every wire!

* Never expose the charge controller to direct sunlight and high temperatures.

* Attach each of the connectors of the connection cable to battery 1 and battery 2, and the cable terminals to the respective jacks SM+ and SM-.

* Order the specific required cable length separately.

* In your order include the type of glider, e.g.,

DG - Schleicher - Schemmp Hirth - Schneider (connectors are type-specific).
